The Increase Rent feature allows property managers to adjust a tenant’s rent amount. 

Open your Dashboard, click the left sidebar, and select Guest Applications.

  • Select the particular property you want to Request for additional information. Click on “View Action”. And click on “View Application”
  • On the upper bar, click on “Other,” and from the dropdown menu, select “Update Rent”
  • Select “Increase Rent”
  • Rent Increase Effective Date (mm/dd/yyyy): Enter the date when the rent increase will take effect.
  • Increment Amount (CAD %): If there’s a specific increment amount associated with the rent increase, enter it. (Specify whether it’s in Canadian Dollars (CAD) or a percentage % )
  • Rent Increase Notice Date: Enter the date when the notice of rent increase will be sent to the tenant.
  • Days Prior: Indicate the number of days in advance the notice will be sent.
  • Current Rent: Display the current rent amount for reference.
  • Setup Reminder: User or Guests
  • Automatically Update Invoice: If yes, explain that invoices created after the specified date will reflect the updated rent amount. And, If no, inform the user that manual updates to invoices will be required.
  • Click “save” to save the changes.
