To apply a discount to the rent, start by navigating the dashboard’s sidebar and click on “Guest Applications”. From there, select the property for which you want to adjust the rent by choosing “View Action” and then “View Application.” Locate the “Update Rent” option on the right sidebar and select “Add Discount.” This allows you to specify the nature of the discount: choose between a “One Time” or “Recurring” discount, select the discount month if it’s a recurring discount, and define the discount rate either in Canadian Dollars (CAD) or as a percentage. There’s also a space for you to add any additional notes or comments concerning the discount. Ensure all information is accurate before clicking “save” to apply the changes, effectively updating the rent with the specified discount.
